Unreality is a mysterious phenomenon that appears to take place when mentally unstable individuals project the contents of their subconscious onto reality, distorting the very fabric of space and transforming the surrounding environment into a perilous mindscape which reflects their innermost thoughts and feelings. An organization was created to deal with such incidents, and Virgil is one of its agents. He keeps a carefully cultivated solitary lifestyle, but his self-inflicted isolation is challenged when he meets Ariadne, a girl coping with sorrow and grief after the loss of her twin brother. The two begin to form a bond, but as Virgil comes across more and more cases of unreality, his own psyche starts to unravel, forcing him to confront his own mental scars and deep-seated feelings of alienation.

To everyone else, he is the perfect student: polite, intelligent, and on the fast track to a future he's supposed to want. But this is just a role he plays. A mask to hide the truth. Caste systems are put into place, and many are enslaved. Food is scarce except for those of the ruling party. Nico, a young princess of the Unified World Order, deals with a stepmother and stepsister who hate her, grief for her recently passed mother, and her best friend's slave status. When Nico finds that a scary-looking visitor has come not just to court her but to marry her, she does what is forbidden and goes into the woods. While she is saying goodbye to her late mother, another odd, but beautiful, stranger appears to rescue her and leads her on a journey greater than anything she ever would have imagined. Perhaps a path beyond your wildest imagination. I utilized prompts: 66. A strange message arrives, written in your own handwriting, but it's dated years in the future. As you read, you realize it warns you about something only you can change. 104. While wandering in the woods, you dismiss the rustling behind you as nothing more than the wind through the trees until you turn around and realize it isn't the wind at all.

Joey is your average eighteen year old, for the most part. School feels meaningless. The future feels like its coming too fast. Violence is so normalized it hardly registers anymore. The only thing that keeps Joey tethered is Ben. His friends charm and recklessness make it far too easy to ignore how serious their conversations are becoming. Nothing Noble is a story about alienation, teenage nihilism, and the thin line between joking about something and meaning it.

An exploration of existential emptiness and the search for authentic selfhood. "Auctor"(Latin) means "author," "Phany"(from Greek "phainein") refers to "manifestation," (as in "epiphany" or "theophany"). Thus, Auctorphany translates to "the manifestation of the author."

Brief thoughts from a freethinking misanthrope

A sublime confession how love for a man can sometimes be one sided and that in order for it to prosper, one must carry on why thinking of thoughts that will leave an abstract hole between reality and spirituality. How each word spoken are melted plates of gold that will never glaciate, and will only live on as a dream. an abstract longing, incurable and dispiriting. Thinking simply of thoughts, one must weight the heaviness of such emotion amidst the crisis of change.
